It has recently come to our attention that a group of unknown miscreants have formed WhatsApp groups
(Samara VIP Members; Samara Institutional Strategy) and application (SamaraPro) and are sharing
advisory
and misusing our name and of our employee, Vikram Agarwal. We would like to clarify that neither
Samara
Capital Group, nor its affiliate entities and their respective employees are in any way associated
with
the said WhatsApp group and application. There could be other surreptitious groups / applications
(in
addition to the above) which have not come to our notice but are illegitimately abusing our trade
name
and our employees’ names to defraud the public.
Samara Capital Group comprising of Samara India Advisors Private Limited and its affiliates,
including
Samara Alternate Investment Fund III India, are regulated entities. We do not create or subscribe to
any
such social media platforms or social media groups on any third-party apps like WhatsApp, telegram
etc.,
website, application program, or any other form of electronic communication (collectively,
“Electronic
Platforms”) and do not solicit, market, promote or sell through any such Electronic Platforms any
investment opportunities or any investment products offered by Samara Capital or any of its
affiliates.
Anyone creating and / or subscribing to such Electronic Platforms and / or paying monies or acting
on
advisories / tips on such Electronic Platforms shall be doing so at their own risk and Samara
Capital
Group shall not be responsible in any manner.
In case anyone misleads you in the name of Samara Capital or any other affiliate entities or its
employees in any manner, you may consider filing a police complaint and bringing it to the notice of
the
cyber-crime cell. We have already initiated steps to lodge complaints with the cyber-crime cell in
relation to the aforesaid acts.
